Tom Glavine's Spring Training a Victory for GTF, Transplant Community

The 13th annual Tom Glavine's Spring Training was an overwhelming success, raising more than $450,000 for the Georgia Transplant Foundation (GTF). Held on January 27 in the 755 Club at Turner Field, the event drew a huge crowd of about 1,000 sponsors, guests, volunteers and athletes.

"When we started this 13 years ago, I never thought it would turn into a $450,000 event, but I'm proud of the work we've done to get here," said Glavine. "GTF works hard all year to support the organ transplant community, and it's my pleasure to spend this night lending a hand."

The 755 Club was a hive of activity, with game tables, a silent auction, a raffle, and a live auction contributing to the "good times for a good cause."
