Notched his first win of the season (and his first as an Atlanta Braves since 2002) in the Braves' 8-6 win over the Phillies May 14th . . . Went 5.2 innings, giving up 4 runs . . . allowed 4 hits, and 2 walks while striking out 4. Had gone winless in his last 10 starts prior to the win.

With his three strikeouts on May 9 at Pittsburgh, moves ahead of Warren Spahn into sole possession of 24th place on the all-time strikeouts list.

Got his first hit and RBI of the season on May 4 vs Cincinnati ... went 1-1 with a single, RBI, run scored ... also had a sac bunt on the day.

Came off his first-ever stint on the disabled list to pitch 6 innings against the Nationals (April 29) ... gave up 2 runs on 6 hits, walking 1 and striking out 2 ... got saddled with a no decision in the Braves' 6-3 loss.
