The others were May 19, 1993 with Atlanta vs. Montreal (perfect through 5.0 innings), May 23, 2004 with New York vs. Colorado (perfect through 6.0 innings), and May 27, 2006 with New York at Florida (perfect through 5.0 innings).

Made his 30th start of the year on September 8th ... It is his 17th season of 30 or more starts and his 12th in a row ... The only other lefthanded pitchers with as many 30 start seasons as Glavine are Warren Spahn (18) and Steve Carlton (17).

Beat John Smoltz and the Braves for his 302nd career win Sept. 2nd at Turner Field ... Pitched 6+ innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits ... With the six innings, moved ahead of Guy Weyhing for 32nd place all-time in innings pitched.

Collected one strikeout in his start on August 28th at Philadelphia to move into sole possession of 26th on the all-time strikeouts list with 2,557 career strikeouts .. Now has 2,563 ... Bob Feller is 25th with 2,581 strikeouts.

Earned his 301st career win on August 17th at Washington ... Moved into sole possession of 21st on the all-time wins list, passing Lefty Grove and Early Wynn ... Mickey Welche is 20th with 309 victories.

Became the 23rd pitcher in major league history to record his 300th win on August 5th at Wrigley Field ... the first pitcher to ever win 300 at Wrigley Field and the first pitcher to win 300 in a Mets uniform ... Became the fifth lefthanded pitcher to win 300 ... Went 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs ... Had a run-scoring single in the game as well.

Won career win no. 297 in a rain-shortened complete game shutout against the Cardinals June 27th. Worked 6 innings giving up 1 hit in the Mets 2-0 win. He is credited with his 56th career complete game and his 25th career shutout. It was his second career one-hit shutout and the second rain-shortened win of his career.

Is now 20-6 all-time vs. St. Louis ... In the expansion era (since 1962), the only other pitchers to win at least 20 games vs. the Cardinals are Steve Carlton (38), Greg Maddux (26) and Tom Seaver (25).

Won his 296th career victory on June 22nd, as the Mets defeated the A's 9-1. Worked 8+ innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run. He also went 2-3 at the plate with a single, double, a run scored and 2 RBI. It was the first time he tossed 8.0 innings or more since September 19, 2006 vs. Florida when he pitched 8.0 innings in a 3-2 win.

Notched win No. 294 of his career in the Mets 4-1 win over the Giants May 8th. Worked 7 innings, giving up 7 hits and 1 run. The win was his 20th in his career against the Giants.

Started five of the Mets' first 17 games ... The last Met to start five of the team's first 17 was Ron Darling in 1987.

His start April 12th was his 60th against Philadelphia ... In the last 60 years, the only other pitchers to make 60 starts against the Phillies are Warren Spahn (83) and Bob Friend (69)

Notched his 291st career victory in the Mets 6-1 win over the Cardinals April 1. Pitched 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 6 hits. It was his eighth career Opening Day start and his fourth for the Mets (2003, 2004, 2006). He is third in franchise history behind Tom Seaver (11) and Dwight Gooden (8)
